So What?

“God gave me so many promises” – So what?
“It’s been more then 7 years since He told me these things” – So what?
“I am tired of waiting on God” – So what?
“Why aren’t these things being fulfilled yet?” – So what?
“I look foolish after I shared these things by faith with others” – So what?
“Not sure I have strength to believe I hear correctly anymore” – So what?
“What if I’ve been wrong all along?” – So what?
“It hurts to pray about this any longer” – So what?
“Maybe I am going crazy” – So what?

So what? God is not in a hurry nor obligated to prove or explain Himself. God is secure and confident in His own Word and in the works of His hands. I am encouraged to hear of others who have waited for God’s Words to be fulfilled for decades. And He always comes through. God cannot lie. Nothing is impossible for God, except lying. It is impossible for God to lie. So what if time is going by? So what if there is no manifestation yet? So what? He is not shaken at all by my lack of patience. He sustains His own Word and will bring it to pass. And He sustains the universe and ME.

He Spoke And It Was Done!

I wrestled with Holy Spirit tonight, (to no avail) pointing out how He had still not done what He said He would according to multitude of promises.
And not sure I wanted to listen to what He might say through the inner voice by journaling, He still chose to speak through Scripture….. And look at how I was blown away;
1. Every time God spoke… It was done.
2. When He looked at what He created, He saw that it was good.
3. Every time after darkness, light came. (There is always light at the end of the tunnel, to put it in the description of my current feelings)
4. But even after it was day, NIGHT came again… but then light came again… and then darkness AGAIN… Like cycles!!!!!!! (Yes… the story of my life…) And yet every time, He saw that that what He made was good!
5. When He made animals and humans, He Spoke multiplication over them.

I copied and pasted parts of Genesis 1, New Living Translation:
Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
And God saw that the light was good.
And evening passed and morning came,

Then God said, “Let there be space between the waters
And that is what happened.
And evening passed and morning came,

Then God said, “Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place
And that is what happened
And God saw that it was good

Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation—
And that is what happened.
And God saw that it was good.
And evening passed and morning came,

Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night.
And that is what happened.
And God saw that it was good.
And evening passed and morning came,

Then God said, “Let the waters swarm with fish and other life.
And God saw that it was good
Then God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply.
And evening passed and morning came.

Then God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal,
And that is what happened.
And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us.
Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply.

Then God looked over all he had made,
and he saw that it was very good!
And evening passed and morning came,

Faith Like Abraham’s…

This morning I was reading… “As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” (Romans 4:17-22 NIV)

So, God… What does this wild faith look like? How do we respond to such faith stirring inside?

“THIS IS MY SPIRIT IN YOU. I AM THE AUTHOR OF WILD FAITH. THIS IS MY SPIRIT STIRRING IN YOU. BECAUSE IN THE END I GET ALL GLORY FOR MYSELF. I SEE WHAT YOU DO NOT SEE AND MY WORD CREATES EVERYTHING. MY WORD ALONE HAS THE POWER TO BRING ALL THINGS INTO EXISTENCE. THAT’S WHY YOUR PART IS SIMPLE. JUST BELIEVE. JUST BELIEVE THAT IT IS. I SAID ‘LET THERE BE LIGHT’. AND THE LIGHT WAS. AND LIGHT IS. AND YOU ARE, JUST BECAUSE I SPOKE YOU INTO BEING. AND I SPOKE ALL YOUR PROMISES. AND THEY ARE. JUST BECAUSE YOU DON’T SEE THEM YET, DOES THAT MEAN THEY ARE NOT? AT NIGHT TIME, JUST BECAUSE YOU DON’T SEE THE SUN, DOES IT MEAN THE SUN IS NOT? IT SURELY IS THERE. ON THE OTHER SIDE OF WHERE YOU ARE. WHILE YOU ARE IN THE DARK, THE SUN STILL SHINES BRIGHT. WITH MUCH FORCE. JUST ON THE OTHER SIDE. JUST BELIEVE LONG ENOUGH AND THE SUN RISES IN THE MORNING WHERE YOU ARE. SO IT IS WITH MY PROMISES. THEY ARE! I SPOKE THEM INTO BEING. THEY ARE THERE. YOU JUST WAIT. JUST HOPE. JUST BELIEVE. AND DON’T FEAR.

YOU JUST MAKE ME SMILE. CHILDLIKE FAITH. THAT IS WHAT I PRODUCE IN YOU. THE KIND OF FAITH A LITTLE CHILD HAS WHEN THEY COME TO ASK QUESTIONS. THEY BELIEVE IT ALL. THEY JUST ASK ‘WHY?, WHY?’…. AND THE RESPONSE, THEY BELIEVE IT. JUST PLAINLY BELIEVE IT. THEY DO. BE LIKE THOSE 2 YEAR OLDS. JUST BELIEVE”.
